- 1992 GMC Typhoon, June 12-17?, 2001, Seattle Washington Area
I had parked it down by Boeing field (near Seattle for those out of the area) in the Flightcenter parking lot while I was out of town, and came back to find it gone. I've reported it stolen to the police and my insurance company and am now in a waiting game. The crooks must've known what they were doing as there was no broken glass and no one from Flightcenter noticed anything out of the ordinary.
If you want to keep your eyes out, here are the details:
92 white/grey with all stickers in place
around 40k miles
small trailer hitch under rear license plate
original plates 010-JPL licensed in washington
new good year eagle HP+ tires
rear shocks squeaked, noticeable inside and outside of the car
VIN: 1gdct18z5n0811762

Also note, if you are in this area and own a Syclone or Typhoon, a report of 3 diffrent trucks have been recorded recently.

Need some reasons to buy a good quality alarm? Here's a picture of Mike Vielhaber's GMC Syclone when it was 4 months old with just 4000 miles on the clock. One week prior to this picture being taken, it was producing mid twelve seconds timeslips, and was his only daily driver.

The truck went missing for less than 8 hours. Cleveland Police found it stripped, parked illegally and the owner even had to pay $90 for a parking ticket and towing! Note the absence of expensive wheel-arch cladding after excessive 4-weelin' and the distinct lack of the even more costly wheels!. They also took the radio, and beat up the cladding on all sides... The repair bill? A little over $11,000. !
Before the theft, it turned 12.50s, after the theft 13.0s... If you own a rare model of any vehicle, that you drive regularly, you may have a problem finding parts when the "popsicle brained punks" steal it, so be sure to install a good alarm...
