WATERLOO PARK
Nr. Jessop, Maryland - 12 April 1997

Dateline: April 12, 1997. The Mid-Atlantic Region of the International Syclone and Typhoon Association (ISTA) held its second gathering of the yearat Waterloo Park, near Jessup Maryland. The weather, as can be seen, was absolutely terrible! It rained and drizzled all day, but thirteen Syclone and Typhoon drivers weren't going to miss the opportunity to meet and greet.

Trucks attended from Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia and probably a few other locations. The entire group caravaned to a local TGI Friday's restaurant where they took lunch and shelter from the rain. The opportunity arose to see Bob Galla's '93 Typhoon run a 0-60 in 4.9 seconds in the wet whilst carrying Alex Green and the Diacom laptop and thank you goes to Jim Von Bergen for the use of the G-Tech Pro (neat toy).

But despite the weather, everyone had a good time and are were gearing up for the next event at Carlisle, Pennsylvania on June 21-22, 1997 at the All Truck Nationals.
