what I read was that keeping the heat up on the exhaust side and downpipe 
keeps air lighter increasing velocity. Lower temps in engine compartment and 
on last intercooler pipe helps with lower intake temps. Negative was that the 
wrap holds humidity on pipe and extra heat adds to deterioration of the 
metals(rust). But i heard it still takes along time to occur. I was thinking 
of putting something on the downpipe to remove surface rust and later 
painting with hi heat paint before wrapping. let me know what you think. Mario
