my Sy does the "snap/crackle/pop" stuff when it goes lean under boost.
I suspect that a diacom might reveal some sub 500 O2 numbers while
this popping is present. I'm betting that poor fuel delivery under boost
is your problem. Have you connected a monitoring device?
