Although I am not the culprit of which you speak, I
did happen to also race a Sonoma a couple of days ago
in Phoenix.  I wasn't even looking to race him but he
yelled at me, "Hey, is that thing loaded?"  I yelled
back, "Are you serious?"  The light changed and I put
about 5 car lengths between us.  I don't think that
any difference in high end would be enough to make up
for the distance I was ahead.

Another tidbit, I beat a mustang 5.0 to 90 by about
1/2 a car lenght from a ROLL...  I thought I was
toast, but the guy laid tire in second and I shot
ahead...
