[ISTA] turbo gasket

After replacing my distributor and starting my Sy, it became VERY
obvious where my exhaust leak was.  The unburnt fuel in the motor when
it shutoff caused it to blow black smoke out of the gasket where the
turbo mounts to the downpipe.  The gasket looks a little crooked.  Do I
need to replace it or just straighten it out. It doesn't look to be in
bad shape.  I have an ATR turbo and 3 inch downpipe but I don't know
exactly what turbo upgrade was put on it.

Could someone please give me the exact procedure for resetting the
timing after new distributor installation?  When we unpluged the brown
wire under the passenger side floorboard, it cutoff.  Was this the
correct (timing reset wire)?  Ivan had sent me some info on it but I
accidentally deleted the email and lost the print out..
