Yes, the hoses need to be redone. Whatever size the stock hoses where 3/4" or 
whatever they are you need to go one size smaller. 

On an interesting note. 
My brand new Cpp/Atr/Car Tech IC uses one step smaller than the older CPP IC, 
so two steps smaller than stock and no longer has the radiator cap on top but 
uses a blue anodized screw plug. I also received my first set of instructions 
and they want you to change the length of the pcv hose. I did this for the 
first time and it does give little more room.
