You won't find a hitch system specifically for the Ty--You're not supposed
to tow with them.  I saw quite a few Tys in KC with hitches of various
types, under the bumper.  No one noticed mine, however, it is completely
hidden--you remove the license plate and slide in a receiver and plug into
the jack mounted in the bumper behind the plate.  This was a very difficult
customization job I did myself, I wanted an invisible hitch system.  So it
can be done, in various ways.  But to be safe, especially if towing as much
weight as you describe, you would be well advised to stay out of boost and
add a tranny cooler.

Subject: Trailer hitch

Hey List!  I need to know if any of your Typhoons have trailer hitches.
I have a trailer to haul my Harley to shows and stuff and was wondering
what hitches are being used.   I ordered one for a 93 Jimmy\Blazer and
it didn't fit at all.  The roll pan was in the way.  Is there a special
hitch for the Typhoon?  Any info is greatly appreciated!
