Re: Speaking of Diacom

Seriously speaking of Diacom, I finally got Diacom to work with my
200MHz labtop. Thanks to Dig, I downloaded a program called "Turbo"
that slows the CPU down to whatever percent you want, plus I run it in
a Dos Window under Win95. The only problem is shortly after linking
and seeing Diacom displaying all of the stats, '95 comes up and
indicates that Diacom has taken the LPT1. After responding to this
message it returns me to the Diacom screen and Diacom has stopped
recording. I then exited back to Diacom's main menu and restart all
over again with menu option #2, engine selection, mode=normal, and
then relink, and now Diacom is back running and displaying stats.

Anyone that wants the program (it's freeware, 50KB zipped) I can send
     it via email.

     Just a heads up,

List,

Does anyone know what the minimum requirements are to run Diacom.
It's a DOS based program and is fairly small so I would think it would run
on just about anything. Am I right? I'm looking for a cheap laptop to run it
on. I don't really need the laptop to do anything else.

Thanks,
