Re[2]: Pomona Street Legal Drags -Oct 24th
Hey Patty,
I think Sean has several VHF radios. BTW, when am I ever going to get
all the equipment I loaned you...you do realize it was a loan.....but
not forever. I was hoping to use my GPS for myself someday.

Big Dave,
I just got home this evening from the IASCA Finals, driving all the way from
Dallas to San Jo over Monday and Tuesday. A drive to Pomona is a piece of
cake! I think I did it today in about 6 hours, and that's with my Ty up on
the trailer. Hey Sean, what's up with Riverside? Brush fires, shootings at
the city hall.......
I'll probably head down for the last street legal drags, even though my Ty
has some problems right now; runs hot (220 degrees once I turn on the A/C),
after driving around in Tempe AZ the boost maxes out at 8psi, and I still
have those !(@*#&$^! 40lb injectors in there. But people always ask at the
shows what will my Ty run, and I say, "I don't know, never had it on the
track". So after KC now I want to find out. If it breaks (Sean's engine
parts and my stereo gear all over the racetrack) I can tow it home now.
So let's plan the caravan. I'll borrow Uncle Rich's (Merlino) VHF radio and
bring mine, so that we can stay in touch along the way. I know your towing
vehicle is a Dodge, is it a Cummins?
"Mr. Patrick's Stealthy Typhoon"
Silicon Valley, NorCal
93 Typhoon, black
93 RX7 R1, black
89 Ram 250, Cummins Turbo Diesel, black
98 Carson car trailer, black
Hmmm, what's my favorite color?
