Pomona Street Legal Drags -Oct 24th

Once again its that time. Missed the last few Pomonas due to different
things.   This is the last Pomona Street Legal drags of the year.  The
next ones will  not be until Feb 99.

So all those people that have been threatening to come down and join us
SoCal guys .. pack up your stuff and get down here.

I just read on the GN list that the BGNRA(Buick Grand National Racing
Association) is hosting an event on the 24th also. They are going to
have a tent and a lane for just them.   Maybe can talk them into having
some other GM turbos hanging out with them. I am a member of the BGNRA ,
so maybe they be nice.

Now for the details. Since it is the last event of the year . I expect
it to be crowded . The gates open at 7 am and I would recomend getting
there early if you want to race. The tech lines are fairly long , and
can be detailed depending on the inspector.

I should have the 36 foot Beaver. One of the biggest ones they made.
Very large Beaver. Fridge ,Ice maker , Microwave. All the essentials for
the track. I'll bring food and drinks , but if anyone has anything in
particular they want - bring it.

 Should be quite a few 12 second trucks , at least one 11 sec , and I
have even heard several threats of a Stokes Sy showing up.
