Phillips Black Headlights?

>From reading an earlier post in this mail list, I contacted J.C. Whitney
about the Phillips black headlights. They have them, and they go for
$15.95 a piece. Anyone familiar with these? Are they worth the purchase?
I'd really like to go with a blacked out look in the front, but not
using those plastic, tinted headlight covers. Thanks.
