oil pan removal

Dear List,
I would like to know how hard or easy it is to remove the oil pan on a
TY for inspection
purposes, i.e. bent rods, things like that.  Is it a weekend job like
everything else on the truck or just one hour?  Is is easier to just
pull the whole motor out?  I've done the motor r&r before and know its
about a four day job.

any advice will be taken seriously
