Actually you would be amazed at the amount of space in a Astro/Safari 
van.  There is more room in them to drop in a V8 then in an S10 so you 
would figure a SyTy engine would work too.  The SyTy has a LB4 4.3L V6 
and the Astros/Safaris come with the LB4 also.

There is more room in the Astro/Safari for everything down to the 
headers than in an S10.

It really does seem like it but after talking to people who have dropped 
a V8 in them, it sounds easier to me.
