One advantage to the Bravada/Jimmy/Sonoma conversion is that the engine
bay is the same layout, so everything just bolts in. The safari has a
much tighter compartment, including the "doghouse" that covers the rear
of the motor from the inside of the van. Also, where are you going to
mount the heat exchanger?
I'm not saying it couldn't be done, but it would probably be a LOT more
work.
