weak performance
I still haven't cured my Ty problem of weak performance.
I finally replaced the IC to turbo hose with a solid rubber one (thanks
to Rick Krupa)
but this didn't change the performance. So the stock hose didn#t have a
leak.
With stock chip Boost builds up to 13 maybe 14 psi, but very slow. The
truck
is missing this spontaneous killer reaction it used to have.
Fuel pressure is approx. 46/47 psi at idle and between 60 - 67 psi at
WOT.
A while back I even noticed FP of approx. 71 psi at WOT.
I had the truck at the dealer and they fiddled around a bit with the
Fuel pressure.
The truck was running killerlike for a couple of days, but then went
back to weak performance like it is still now.
I still have the MSD 6A and the ATR double fuel pump to install, but I
first
want to indentify the trouble.....
I wanna try changing the fuel pressure.... On the ATR FP regulator,
what
directional turn decreases the FP? Lost my instructions......
I also have not started fiddling around adjusting with the wastegate.
I wanna save this to last...
