Sputtering

Aaron,

I recently had the same problem. After 7 1/2 weeks in 2 different
dealerships, the problem was solved. They replaced the entire ignition
system - didn't fix it. They replaced the injectors - didn't fix it. They
replaced the computer, the chip, the plugs - didn't fix it. They even hard
wired a diagnostic computer into the truck for test drives - couldn't find
the problem. After almost $2400 in parts and labor (eaten by the first
dealership that coulcn't fix the problem) it ended up being a wastegate
adjustment. I hadn't seen that suggestion yet on the list, so add it to the
others, as well as a possible plugged cat was another suggestion I got when
I was having this problem.
My Ty is finally running great again. Good luck!
