Buick GN VS. Mustang 5.0 shootout at Englishtown raceway park this weekend.

I was at the Englishtown raceway park this weekend in New Jersey for the
Annual Buick Grand National versus the mustang 5.0's where i saw some
interesting things.  besides seeing enough GN's and 5.0's for a while, i
saw a couple of ty's and one sy.  The only sy i saw was one which was being
raced by a gentleman and his wife (i forget thier names).  He was running
in the street eliminator for the heck of it, and he ran an 11.7 but i can't
recall the MPH.  When i spoke to him in the pits he said that he wasn't on
the list, but soon will be.  hope to hear from him soon. he is the second
owner but the first owner is a good friend of his whom he gets together
frequently with to work on the vehicle.  The only other interesting item
was a pseudo Ty from New York.  It was a vin from an '85 Chevy Blazer (the
inspection stickers on NY vehicles list the model and year openly),
however, the appearance of the vehicle was identical.  My only hypothesis
is that he had a ty and blazer salvage title and pieced it all together!
Kind of a sacrelige, blasphemy I say, blasphemy!!  There had to have been
others from this list at the event, was anyone else there??
