Re: [SYTY] GM Dispute Mediation

If there is ANY modification done to the truck they have the right to refuse warranty.
Fuel regulators, chips, and boost controllers are the main ones they have been KNOWN to refuse warranty service on.
I am surprised you still have a warranty beings a Syclone is 11 years old now goin on 12 this fall.

At this stage in the game, with GM turning its back on us SyTy owners, no good SYTY mechanics at dealerships anymore, You're best bet is to build yourself a better motor than GM gave us.
Even if they paid out on the warranty chances are you'd get a naturally aspirated assembly and the nightmares will get worse.

I am very sorry to hear about your trucks misfortune but you are fighting a losing battle at the dealerships.

Here is the contact info for GMC customer service, I am sure they fielded hundreds of these calls a few years back. Would be interested in how they react today.

Subject: [SYTY] GM Dispute Mediation

Has anyone called the number in the Owner's Manual
folder. I can't remember the name in it but it but the
text said "If you experience some problem with this
truck call the number below". All this information for
anyone looking in their folder is on single small
page.

Has anyone gone to small claims court to sue for
warranty work, even after selling their truck? I think
I have a case. My truck's chain of custody has gone
from gas station to dealer 1 to dealer 2. Gas Station
said oil level was fine, dealer 1 said it won't pull
the engine and even ordered it, dealer 2 says the oil
level is low and a turbo oil line with a leak caused
the engine to grenade. I'm pretty bitter at this point
but am looking for clues for a willful denial of
service on a warranty case.
