I am posting this to the list just in case anyone else ever needs to know.
With the radio on and LOC showing on the screen, press and hold presets 2 and 3
for about 6 seconds until the first 3 numbers show up on the screen.  Write
these down.  Next, press the AM/FM button and another 3 digits will show up on
the screen.  Write these last digits down and call your GM dealer.  This 6
digit code is an encrypted code that can be decoded by a dealer into your
original code that will unlock your radio.
