[ISTA] Hot Shot Install
Well, I installed the hot hot relay using the instructions from
http://www.syclone.freeserve.co.uk/hotshotrelay.htm.... I did removed
the bolts holding the starter to help move the starter around the access
the wires. But hard as I tried I could not removed the small wire so
ended up splicing the it on the large purple to the hot shot replay.
Carefully ran the wires away from the exhaust manifolds and down pipe.
I removed a heat shield that was bolted the the firewall where the main
harness enters the firewall to help run the wires behind this main
harness. Used lots of tye wraps and tubing the shield and keep wires
away from any heat sources. So it took 2 1/2 hours for the install and
no immediate BANG for the buck.... oh well maybe I'll never have any
starter problems either.. But can't stop thinking that the small wire I
spliced onto is my weak link!!!!! Hardest to install mod yet!!!
