Moose here;

    The Sy does this even when you don't touch the lever.

    I've removed the sending unit twice for cleaning.  It works for about a 
year.  It's also a pain in the butt to remove cause you have to NOT lose 
little springs and things.

    ANYWAY, don't replace the turn signal lever, that's not it.  It's the 
connector "sending unit."  Gotta change that soon, cause I hate using the 
washer to clear the smudging since the Sy is always clean.
