My apologies for the immense lack of updates. I have been extremely busy as part of the SyTy Nationals Planning Committee.
If you have not heard through SyTy.net, the 11th Annual Syclone Typhoon Nationals are coming soon! Please take a moment to visit www.sytynats.com for all of the details!
This year’s event is going to be in Bowling Green, KY • August 7-9, 2009. The hotel is almost full! So make sure to register and book your room right away!
Also, after Nationals, I hope to make a more concerted effort to give this site another overhaul. So stay tuned. We might get this off of Jackstands some day.

First of all, I offer my sincerest and most humble apologies to the owners of the last GMC Typhoon #2200 that was produced. Due to some rash acting on some misinformation, we mistakenly reported their auction as a scam. Again, we are extremely sorry. However, we merely reported on the auction. We here at SyTy.org in no way tampered with the auction itself.
Please understand, the Syclone Typhoon community is a very small, tight-nit community and over the past few years, several owners have been subject to a rash of scammers using legitimate pictures of privately owned trucks to further their interests. With so few of the original number of trucks left on the road today, it’s easy to get carried away when trying to protect our passion.
We apologize for the misunderstanding and in no way meant to detract from the actual owners GMC Typhoon #2200. Please accept our humble apology and good luck with the future sale of the truck. It is a fantastic piece of GM history and whoever the future owner will be, will have something truly special.
Thank you,
SyTy.org Admin

1991 GMC SYCLONE #863 FOR SALE, LOW MILEAGE

I hate to do this but sadly it’s got to go. Selling GMC Syclone #865. It’s an amazing truck with only 11,255 miles on it. My son has done a few things to it; installed a 3-gauge pillar with autometer c2 oil pressure, boost and air fuel. Have all stock parts. The truck has been lowered 3 inches in the front and 4 in the rear. It has a hard tonneau cover instead of the soft one, and tinted windows all the way around it. It also has a super nice sound system with Infinity front 4×6 plates and Memphis 4×10’s and a nice kicker l7 8” in a custom made box and a 600-watt amp. Under the hood my son and his friend made a custom 3” downpipe and exhaust with a magnaflow high flow cat and a Borla muffler. This is a great truck purchased with only 7700 miles on it. It is located in Seattle Washington. I hate to sell it but money is too tight. Asking $19,000 obo.
